Jones is responsible for the day-to-day operations of TV Land, cable’s only 24-hour home to everything television superserving Baby Boomers, the first generation of Americans to grow up watching TV.  He is charged with managing all aspects of the network, overseeing programming, marketing, on-air promotion, advertising sales, original programming, series development, online, consumer marketing and ancillary business.

Jones’ business, creative and management contributions have led TV Land to become the premier classic TV brand in the United States and one of Viacom’s most successful businesses. TV Land is one of the fastest-growing cable networks in terms of ratings, distribution and brand awareness. Under his leadership, TV Land has grown in subscribers to more than 90 million homes.

Jones joined Nickelodeon/ Nick at Nite in 1988 and has held positions of increasing responsibility over the past fifteen years.  Prior to being named Executive Vice President and General Manager of TV Land, in 1997, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager.  Prior to that role, Jones was Vice President of Nick at Nite and TV Land.  Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Marketing for Nick at Nite from 1993-96 in which he played an active role in the creation of TV Land, which premiered on April 29, 1996.
