Dr. Riley received her masters and PhD in human nutrition along with her masters in exercise physiology from The Ohio State University. She has been focused on the role of nutrition and exercise in health prevention and disease management for over 25 years. During her 18 year tenure at Abbott’s Ross Products Division she has worked on a variety of nutrition initiatives including a comprehensive, multidisciplinary medically supervised weight management program, geriatric nutrition, sports nutrition, women’s health with a focus on bone health, and diabetes. She has worked on both the strategic evaluation of ingredients to address these health concerns as well as educational programming directed towards the consumer and the healthcare professional. Before coming to Ross she worked in cardiac and worker’s compensation rehabilitation.

In the community, Dr. Riley is also working in the area of women’s health, particularly focusing on breast health.   She is President Elect of the Columbus Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, sponsor of Race for the Cure where she uses her background in education, nutrition and exercise to promote the role that healthy lifestyle behaviors can play in early detection and reducing risk of breast cancer.
