CEO and Co-Founder

IGA Worldwide

Justin Townsend, CEO and co-founder of IGA Worldwide, is an industry pioneer with more than 15 years of digital and in-game advertising experience. Townsend founded IGA Worldwide, the global leader in 360 degree in-game advertising solutions, in 2004. In addition, he played an integral role in developing the company’s proprietary ad serving network, RadialSM enables advertisers to target millions of engaged gamers across a wide range of platforms and genres. Today, IGA Worldwide delivers campaigns for diverse brands such as Geico, Wendy’s, Nokia, Universal Pictures, Sony Home Video, Warner Home Video, CBS, Covergirl,, Puma, Reebok, General Motors, Red Bull and Coke Zero.

Prior to founding IGA, Townsend served as Head of Online at McCann-Erickson Berlin where he initiated the digital development of the global advertising conglomerate. His achievements include leading the successful launch of the agency’s first-ever interactive division, cementing the agency as an interactive market leader in Europe within just three years. Also during his tenure at McCann-Erickson, he was responsible for key blue chip accounts such as GM, Fujitsu Siemens, MasterCard, Siemens Mobile, Motorola and Deutsche Bank.

Under Townsend’s leadership, IGA Worldwide has been recognized separately as the “Breakout Company of the Year 2006” and as a “Top 100 Private Company” in the media and entertainment sector for two consecutive years. In June 2008, Sony announced the introduction of dynamic in-game advertising on PLAYSTATION(R)3 (PS3). IGA was selected as PS3's first partner.  Additionally, Electronic Arts named IGA as the exclusive dynamic in-game advertising partner for PS3 titles solidifying IGA’s position as the market leader.
